Volunteer Opportunities

The GridIron Football League is proud to provide a competitive youth football league for children residing in Fort Bend County. Our goal is to give as many kids the opportunity to experience the game of football as possible. As such, given the large number of children and the coordination efforts required, the dedication and support of parent volunteers is absolutely essential to the success of this program.

ZONE COORDINATOR - Acts as the contact/point person for their zone with coaches and the FBYSA Board. Coordinates with school personnel regarding practice and game fields.

COACHING – Head coaches, assistant coaches, and equipment managers for Varsity, Junior Varsity, and Freshman level teams are needed.

TEAM ADMIN – Serves as the contact/point person between coaches and parents, communicates to parents regarding practice schedules, uniforms, general reminders, messages from coaching staff and the FBYSA Board.

MERCHANDISING – Coordinates with their high school booster club for merchandise sales and distribution.

FUNDRAISING – Helps  identify fundraising opportunities/sponsors for the league.

ADMINISTRATIVE HELP – Assists the league administrator with pre-season organization responsibilities, Super Bowl planning, spirit shirt distribution, preparation of binders/instruction manuals.

FOOTBALL CAMP – Helps with camp check-in and t-shirt distribution, supports coaches as needed during the camp.
